Today seems to have brought many different tugs on my emotions and thoughts. What will I choose? There are various approaches to the direction of my life, and each one appears more daunting and confusing than the other. But at the same time, some seem equally safer in contrasting ways than the prior. Where to go? Who to be? What to strive for? What talents to pursue? Does it matter if I'm not exactly in my element? This is a result of the uncertainty of what my element is. The currently endless process of finding my direction, exhausting every aspect of my life to try and determine the course of action and paths that need to be taken. SIGH.
One refreshing and momentarily "escape" from my worrisome troubles was reading a blog from one of my fellow journalism students sights. His style and elegance as well as appreciation for art left me mezmorized by his page, I really could not look away. A brief visit to his site and I felt invigorated by his clean and classy style, and just looking at his compilations of fashion photography... I now have a new hobby. Reading Mickali's postings. My favorite quote of the day?

"If the world is going to hell, you might as well look fabulous." - Mickali

As simple and sassy as it is, thank you Mickali. A true inspiration to my day.

  2. I completely agree. I feel a little lost in what direction I want to take my life or what I want my career to form from. Continue to hold your head high and I hope you find a little more clarity and direction soon.
